A seaside pine forest with good runnability and many roads and paths.

This is a new map for 2014.

Size of the map is A4, scale 1:10000, contour interval 5 m.

In classe MW21A there is a map exchange on the course (the second part of the course is on

the other side of the map sheet).

Map on 2nd day – 100 CP Run

  • MW16 and older classes:
    The maps are in A3 and A4 formats. On one side there is a map in scale 1:10 000 and on the other side there is a contour map in scale 1:5000.
    The course is divided into three parts: the first and third parts are depicted on the regular map and the second part on the contour map.

  • Classes MW12 and MW14:
    The course consists of one part, which is depicted on the regular map in the scale of 1:10 000. The map is in A4 format.

  • Taped route (MW8-10NR):
    The course consists of one part, which is depicted on the regular map in the scale of 1:5000. The map is in A4 format

The contour interval is 5 m.

Event information

  • Individual start

  • On the 1st day World Ranking points are given in classes MW21A
  • On the 1st day there are no refreshment controls during the course but MW21A classes can leave their own drink on the course, leaving it on the table near the bridge, on the side of the competition centre run-through.
  • 20 first from the Estonian ranking and 500 first from World Ranking will be drawn to the end of the start list in classes MW21A.
  • Pre-start is 3 minutes, start interval is 2 minutes.
  • Number bibs are in the competition centre, near the check-in.

  • Time limit on the 1st day is 2 hours and on the 2nd day 5 hours.
  • Forking will be used in classes MW21A on the 2nd day.

  • On the way to the starts, the competitors must go through a start gate where the SI-cards are registered. Also the SI-card’s version will be checked to ensure that the competitor’s SI-card has enough capacity to complete the race.
  • There are separate control descriptions for all classes at the pre-start.

Awards

The award ceremony will take place on the 2nd day according to the finishes. Last awards will be handed out at approximately 18.00.

The six best in classes MW21A will be awarded. Awards will be distributed in all other classes
according to the number of participants.

The times of the 1st and 2nd day will be summed and overall best will be awarded.

Driving instructions and parking

Distance from Tallinn to the Competition Centre is 33 km.

From Tallinn drive from Haabersti roundabound to Rannamõisa road towards Kloogaranna (road nr 11390). Sign posts to the Competition Centre will start on 27th km from Keila-Joa borough.

Distance from the car park to the Competition Centre is 500-700 m.
